Our Classes

Hot Yoga

Did you know Holos Yoga is the one and only hot yoga studio in Longview? We use infrared panels secure in the ceiling to provide radiant, sun-like heat.

Why Infrared?

Infrared heat has been known to increase circulation and flexibility, aid in weight loss, and allow for greater range of motion. It directly penetrates tissues, muscles and joints, allowing them to heal and regenerate through a combination increased circulation, oxygenation and detoxification. Rather than warming the air alone, infrared panels warm the room, feeling more like the sun.

Look for:

Detox: Up-beat, intermediate level vinyasa style class. Some experience suggested but not required. Class heated anywhere between 85-100 degrees. Hydrate before class!

Infrared: Anything listed with infrared in the title is heated. (IE Infrared Deep Stretch, etc.)

Beginner + Intermediate

Not every class on the schedule is a hot class! We aim to host a variety of classes suitable for all levels.

We will always offer simplified poses if you need to make it less intense, and also choices to advance.

Our Core Offerings:

Deep Stretch: Combining Restorative and Yin principals for a deep, slow and meditative practice. Poses are held for minutes at a time, allowing muscle fibers to lengthen and rest. Available Heated and Non-heated. Check the live schedule!

Deep Rest: Soothe the nervous system and deeply stretch the body by combining Yin with Yoga Nidra Yoga Nidra can be thought of as “yogic sleep.” Though the ultimate goal is not to fall asleep, but to slip into a state between waking and dreaming. With practice, we can shift from a state of “fight or flight into a state of ease and calm.

Slow Flow: A juicy, slower paced vinyasa class, typically with a theme or recurring sequence. Like a song with a chorus.

Detox/Vinyasa: An upbeat vinyasa class. (Think of it as Slow Flow x2) You’ll work toward strong and steady movement to improve strength, balance, range of motion, body awareness and flexibility. If listed as Detox, the class is hot. If class is listed as Vinyasa, it’s not heated.

Hatha: Gentle, slow asana class, often a little more broad and “open ended” than vinyasa. Hold poses longer to cultivate focus and strength.

Strength and Mobility: Improve range of motion and muscular function with resistance bands, tennis balls, weights and more.

Beginner Vinyasa Series

Starting at the top of most months, our Beginner’s Series runs for 4 consecutive weeks, typically on Wednesdays. We break down the basics to help you feel empowered in your practice!
